sparked a life-time of interests in C.KhiD. He is a true self-taught scholar, like none other.
Heavily influenced by music since birth, C.KhiD's parents were rural, urban country migrants that moved to a new
city and worked hard to provide. While traveling at times as a child, the most frequent escape in C.KHiD's
household was music. His father had a record collection of over 100 discs, mother read and taught poetry,
and sister blasted every Hip-Hop artist selling records.
A fan of Rock N' Roll music pre-teen years, C.KhiD was influenced by not only Hip-Hop but Pop, Rock, R&B, and Blues music.
His mother taught him of bands such as the ′Beatles′, ′Jackson 5′, and
′the monkies′ that crossed all color barriers during racially divided US times. Those stories
sparked interests in all legendary music artists, creating a spawn of various music remakes by C.KhiD.
A music artist that identifies with the diverse Hip-Hop culture he was submerged in as a youth, C.KhiD is fluid
in appeal. His knowledge and appreciation of music make it easy for him to trigger subconcious memories of youth and
older generations alike. That ability of C.KhiD binds people of all types, leaving him a pure music artist
with no ID for his overall style.
